The creative challenge of designing the “Ragheefi” logo, created specifically for the brand, was accepted. Using Arabic calligraphy in an artistic style that blends Egyptian authenticity with modernity, the logo was developed. Initially, the goal was to generate as many typographic options as possible, then refine and select the most suitable one. The process was akin to a quick sketch to explore all available visual possibilities, then choose the strongest and refine it. Before starting the design, competitors’ logos were studied and analyzed, and the current market situation was examined, focusing on how to differentiate “Ragheefi” in a contemporary style.
The lettering style for the “Ragheefi” logo was chosen as an authentic typographic option, and several calligraphic versions were designed. While the results were visually pleasing, this style lends an authentic character to the brand, which was the desired outcome.
The final logo was derived from the design of Arabic calligraphy letters, with precise adjustments to letter weight and spacing, making it clear and powerful in both small and large sizes, on screens and in print media.
